Brett Heimov
Principal
At WSW Brett Heimov joined Winning Strategies in January 2008 as a Principal. In this role he handles Federal Government Relations for corporations, trade associations, and non-profits. History Mr. Heimov joined the private sector after 12 years on Capitol Hill working his way from Staff Assistant to Legislative Assistant, Legislative Director and finally Chief of Staff to a senior Member of Congress serving on both the House Transportation and Judiciary Committees. During his tenure on Capitol Hill, he was responsible for handling the transportation and homeland security portfolios for his former boss before becoming Chief of Staff and directing the Member’s political and legislative agenda. Mr. Heimov joins WSW after three years at one of the largest government relations firms in Washington, DC, where he successfully advised clients on transportation, tax, homeland security, financial services, and related Appropriations issues.
Mr. Heimov earned his B.A. in Political Science from Adelphi University and still serves as the Washington, DC Chapter President of the University’s alumni association. Mr. Heimov also serves on the advisory board of the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding
