June 28, 2011 – Brett Heimov Speaks on Libel Tourism Bill
WSW’s Brett Heimov is speaking about libel tourism at the “Legal Challenges in Israeli Policy and Advocacyâ€? conference, hosted by the American Jewish Lawyers and Jurists Association and the Israeli Consulate in New York today. Brett will be presenting on his work on the libel tourism bill that was signed into law by President Obama last August. Brett led the effort on behalf of a client to pass the bill, which makes foreign libel rulings virtually unenforceable in US courts.
